Wiskey Biscuit
L.A.-based, Coyote rock septet Wiskey Biscuit were together for over a decade during the nineties and 2000s. They were the first band to start the Monday residencies at Spaceland as they were the buzz of LA back in those days. They later formed the Dub, Space-Disco group, Future Pigeon. They toured with Beck and Elliott Smith, contributed tracks to two Del-Fi Records tribute albums (Delphonic Sounds Today! and Shots in the Dark) and the Sparkler soundtrack. Their music comes across like a lo-fi indie rock Exile on Main Street, blending cosmic American country-rock and swaggering bluesy riffs with early-’80s Cali punk and indie sensibilities.
